Kampfabsage
Today we often fight against trust in God and increasingly replace it with trust in ourselves, our skills and technologies. Even so, catastrophic events lead to the accusation of God not to help - the same God whose influence we fight so hard. This music is my individual fight refusal to him.
I have recorded „Kampfabsage“ from December 2013 to March 2015 as my first solo project. It's a bit “rough” in terms of sound, so sometimes I have to fight the idea to re-record it.

01: Einer dieser Tage
(=One of these days) Often the days rush past me like rivers without even having spoken to God. Nevertheless, he loves me the same every day and this song is supposed to be a kind of reminder note that sticks under the espresso cup in the morning.

02: Freiheit
(=Liberty) Imagine that ... an invitation to dream? What if everything turned out the way God intended? However, we received free will from him and with it completely changed our world, which for us for the most part led to the opposite of liberty.

03: An seiner Hand
(=at his hand) Why does God allow suffering in this world? Why doesn't he intervene? Haven't we prayed enough? We don't know and we may never know. He knows everything and assures us that everything will be fine in the end. This can sometimes be your last resort.

04: Du lebst !
(=You´re alive) Jesus takes care of everyone, confronts us with ourselves, is clear and consistent and he lives! He lives and we are allowed to live too - he is risen, the first of many and everyone who trusts him will also do it. He promised us that.

05: Dein ist das Reich
(=the kingdom is yours) Most know the prayer: Our Father. This powerful prayer is often just chattered. However, if you focus on the content, it really starts to rock: God's kingdom is coming, his will will be done, and his glory will dwarf everything else.

06: Psalm 73
"It is my good fortune to be close to you", wrote Asaf after he was almost torn with envy on other people. Others who seem to be better off than him. The text is a translation of the entire Psalm 73 into today's language.

(=Messiah) Jesus is the Messiah, that is, the “authorized representative” of God. The song describes his wisdom, his deeds, and his work of redemption on the cross, proving that he is the only true ruler and savior of the world.
